About us

At Toys for the Garden we offer a discerning selection of what we consider to be the best toys available for children’s outdoor play. Between us, we have spent 15 years in the outdoor toy industry, with particular experience in product design, product development and the creation of outdoor toy safety standards.

Our knowledge of the market is extensive, and we work closely with our suppliers in striving to deliver the highest level of customer satisfaction and service.

With backgrounds in Psychology and Education, but just as importantly because we are parents ourselves, we feel well placed not only to offer advice on your individual child’s needs as they relate to outdoor play and development, but also to select toys that offer genuine play value.

We are firm believers that children develop best through the freedom to play, and that toys and play equipment should allow children to use their imaginations to their full extent. For this reason, we have limited the number of toys within our range that are prescriptive in the play options they offer - instead we have selected toys that, through their design, offer a flexibility in form and a broadness in scope that will continue to meet a child’s needs as they change over time.

We do not offer any licensed products, and our entire range has been chosen by carefully balancing the attractiveness of the product as far as the parent or purchaser is concerned, with the opportunities it offers to a child for imaginative play and physical development.
