Children’s imaginations turn the Fort Playhouse into a wild west outlaw’s hideout, a wizard’s retreat, and even a pirate ship. The unique and clever design combines the ‘den’ environment of a playhouse with the physicality and function of an activity centre, creating a focus for children’s imaginative fantasy play as well as encouraging outdoor physical activity. Standing a full 2.4m (8 feet) tall at the corners, 2m (6½ feet) deep and 2m (6½ feet) wide, the Fort Playhouse comes complete with a huge 2m x 1m (6½ feet x 3 feet) internal platform come observatory come look-out, a equally spacious ‘under den’, super strong internal swing bars, three doorways, two ladders and a flagpole (for your choice of flag, please see 'suitable accessories' below).

The Fort Playhouse will look great in any garden – solidly built, strikingly unusual, but with a natural finish so it blends in well. The Fort has a very slightly green finish that turns a warm honey brown with weathering. The playhouse is extremely well-designed and craftsman-built to a quality specification, using a specially created tongue and groove profile and premium grade Redwood Pine timber throughout. The timber is high-pressure treated using non-toxic (CCA-free) liquids and only sourced from fully managed, renewable forests.

Carries a 10-year guarantee against rot and fungal/insect infestation (this does not include timber effects such as shakes, knots and holes). All fixings are stainless steel or coated to prevent rust or corrosion, and all bolts are domed and/or countersunk for a safer playing environment.
