The design of the Turret Playhouse is such that it combines the ‘den’ environment of a playhouse with the physicality and function of an activity centre, creating a focus for children’s imaginative fantasy play as well as encouraging outdoor physical activity.  Your children can act out plays, or the adventures of their favourites characters.  They can sit quietly in their secret place high above the ground, or have a crazy time climbing and crawling in a stimulating, but safe, environment.

Standing 2.4m (8 feet) tall at the corners, and with a maximum width of 1.7m, the Turret Playhouse is impressive and yet is also suitable for gardens where space is at a premium.  The Turret comes complete with an internal platform come observatory come look-out, and an ‘under den’.

As the Turret Playhouse is a hexagonal structure, each of its panels is interchangeable so that you as a family can decide where the windows, door and slide (an optional accessory) are positioned.  Furthermore, four of the panels can be supplied with an opening at platform level to allow the addition of various accessories such as a slide, a ladder or even a bridge to another structure. (Please specify requirements for any openings at platform level at time of ordering.)  Alternatively, you can purchase a playhouse that is enclosed on all sides, other than the doorway in and out. These two elements of interchangeability allow flexibility and creativity in positioning and enjoying the Turret Playhouse.

The Turret Playhouse will look great in any garden – solidly built, strikingly unusual, but with a natural finish so it blends in well.  The Turret has a very slightly green finish that turns a warm honey brown with weathering.  The playhouse is extremely well-designed and craftsman-built to a quality specification, using a specially created tongue and groove profile and premium grade Redwood Pine timber throughout.  The timber is high-pressure treated using non-toxic (CCA-free) liquids and only sourced from fully managed, renewable forests.  It carries a 10-year guarantee against rot and fungal/insect infestation (this does not include timber effects such as shakes, knots and holes).  All fixings are stainless steel or coated to prevent rust or corrosion, and all bolts are domed and/or countersunk for a safer playing environment.
