The advantage of a traditional wooden swing seat is that the surface texture and weight makes you feel much more secure in swinging than on smoother, lighter-weight seats. This one in particular has a good depth, and blends well with the 'natural' look of wooden swing frames. The ropes are made of polyhemp, a blend of polyester and natural hemp, which makes them less affected by UV light or changes in temperature, and durable in all weathers.

Designed to attach to a swing top bar 2.5m high, but the ropes are adjustable between approx. 1.2m - 2m.  They end with galvanised steel rings for attaching to any openable swing attachment bracket or shackle.
